Martin Luther King "I Have a Dream" Speech
http://www.vlib.us/amdocs/texts/mlkdream.html This is a copy of Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous "I have a Dream" speech which was delivered in Washington D.C. on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on August 28, 1963. It is significant because the speech clearly stated the situation of blacks in America and outlined the goals of the civil rights movement. JM |
